PHYSICAL distancing not SOCIAL distancing. Be the Force for Support

This is our chance to really get close with eachother

So it was the 30th birthday party for my daughter in New Jersey. Her long planned reunion for her sister's weekend were cancelled due to the virus. Her grandmother was hospitalized with pneumonia.  Her friends from high school, college, and grad school were scattered around the globe.  A time of real life physical distancing occurred in compliance with the regulations...but a real hour of social interaction across 4 generations of family, school, and work life in sickness and in health all celebrated together including an out of tune singing of happy birthday.  Let's fight the virus and stay physically apart for awhile but let's use this time and our technologies to reach out and get close again with our friends and family to have the strength to come out better on the other side.

Let's have the courage to realize that in our moments of darkness..."there is always light if only we are brave enough to see it, if only we are brave enough to be it." Its time, young people, to "merge mercy with might, and might with right" and do the right thing to help us show compassion for all, and protect each other leading with the light of our example to wear the mask, get the shot, feed the hungry, and be kind as we come out of this challenge by making it the opportunity to create a new movement..
