ABOUT THE FORCE FOR HEALTH

ORIGINS

It began after Hurricane Katrina, when the youth of New Orleans taught the rest of us that an empowered teen could take charge and stabilize their family, school, church and community once given a little bit of guidance and resources. . The Force for Health has evolved to be a resource to communities to build collaboratives to advance the health of the community. It supports approaching health across the socio-ecologic model addressing social determinants and infrastructure as part of the overall health and health literacy advancement of a person.

The person uses a Learn it, Live it, and Share it approach to advancing their health as they evolve into a valuable community health advocate.

EVERYONE CAN BE A FORCE FOR HEALTH FOR THEMSELVES FIRST, AND THEN FOR OTHERS

VISION

Provide the platform for people, and the places they learn, work, play or pray to improve individual health and academic advancement, and help those professionals that help them.

TACTIC

As a community we strive to make the healthy choice, the easy choice for all in a community.

We do that with Partner Collaboratives that work to support our members, and help them address the social determinants of health and improve their communities.

CURRENT CAMPAIGN

Prevent of morbidity and mortality of COVID-19 worldwide by mobilizing the members in a community to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

CORPORATE STRUCTURE

The Force for Health Platform, Programs, and Network are products of My Healthy Globe, Inc., a women owned company. The product is only offered at no or low cost as a nonprofit effort through appropriate government, foundations, 501C3 organizations, schools, or faith based organizations.

The Force for Health Executive Advisory
