World Wide Shortage

Robert Gillio • Jan 03, 2021

Attention World!  There's lots of love, but it need's to be translated into blood donation.
January is National Blood Donation Month!

In the office next to me, the Red Cross  does blood donations.  They tell me they are getting more requests due to shortages, and they have less donors due to COVID confinements or fear of going to a medical facility.  I have worked in ICU's and have struggled when a trauma patient comes in and we need more blood than is available. I have also seen where over 100 donors blood was spun down and components were pooled together for the effects needed that saved my sisters life with leukemia. Even recovered COVID patients can help.

Please call your local Red Cross and discuss what their need is and how you can donate in a way that makes you comfortable.
The life you save will be your brother or sister or neighbor somewhere on this planet.    #beaforceforhealth. #donateblood
